QTR PROJECT TOPIC & WHAT IVE DONE SO FAR
MY TOPIC FOR THIS QUARTER PROJECT IS ABOUT ELECTRIC SHOCK AND STATIC. THE TOPIC BASICALLY EXPLAINS THE FACT HOW ELECTRICITY CAN BE USED AS SHOCKING SOMEONE WITH ITS POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CHARGES OCCURING TOGETHER. I HAVE NOT YET STARTED ON THIS PROJECT BECAUSE I HAVE LOST ALL MY INFORMATION INTO MAKING THIS PROJECT. I HAVE RESEARCHED MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ELECTRIC SHOCKS AND ELECTRIC STATIC, TO BE AN A+ STUDENT I WILL HAVE TO SHOW HOW THIS OCCURS AND MOST EXAMPLES THAT IVE SEEN TALKS ABOUT RUBBING A BALLOON ON YOUR HEAD AND PUT IT AGAINST THE WALL, I HAVE FOUND EXAMPLES AND I HAVE ONLY TRIED THE BALLOON ONE BUT I WILL TRY MORE ONCE I GET MORE INFO. :) I ALSO HAVE TRIED SIGNING UP MAKING A NEW WEBSITE, BUT THAT WAS A FAIL. I WILL ASK TOMORROW ABOUT HOW TO MAKE THIS PROJECT AND THE WEBSITE TO GET MORE INFORMATION. MORE QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED AND I WILL START ASAP STARTING TOMORROW KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED.

Band evaluation
Our band wasn't as well prepared for the presentation . Sami and Eddie had decided to be partners and leave me and Shanta by ourselves. It was last minute so me and Shanta had trouble making more instruments and practicing. We tried our best the daynof presentation we wore the same outfit and tried sounding perfect with our songs. It wasn't as great but we showed effort that we tried and practice . Our instrument was okay. My guitar was a fail because I couldn't tune It. The lowest grade to recurve from the presentation is a C . We were slackin being a procrastinator and we regret that. We won't do it again and now that we are done with the presentation Shanta and I are trying to complete and turn in all our late work.

evaluation essay
The grade I belive that I Deseret with my nonacademic components should be a B because I'm always in class on time on task and always participating in laughing at all your jokes and classwork(; my notebook is updated all the time also if i use a computer or laptop my files are saved in my USB. I always wear my I.d. Badge to class to get my class participation points and I am very organized with my supplies such a graph paper with my pens and highlighters(:
with my academic components I elieve I deserve atleast a low B or high C because I try my best and hardest with all my quizzes and exams. I've turned in most labs and the pojects I try my best. I have turne in all my homewok on time before 9pm and when it's due. I believe that as long as you try your best and study you'd pass the class. And that is what I'm doing. Trying my best and hardest to pass all my exams and quizzes. Turning in all my homewok on time.
overall I believe I deserve a B in this class because I'm in class everyday and on task trying my best&hardest to pass the class.(:

Rough Riders Team
Our Team members are Shanta Pinpin, Sami Awad, and Pauline Malanao. Our group name is the “Rough Riders”. Sami is deciding on creating an instrument called the drum. DRUM he will be getting his supplies at home.
• empty oatmeal box with cover
• yarn
• pen
• 2 pencils
• 2 spools
• construction paper
• crayons
Pauline will be making a XYLOPHONE or a MARIMBA!
• tall glasses or jars
• water
• mixing spoon
Fill the glasses or jars with different amounts of water. The more water in the glass, the lower the pitch will be. Having less water in the glass or jar will raise the pitch.
& how we will play we can mix the water by mixing it with a spoon
A marimba: - pipes, wood, plastic; an example would be in Mr. Tillay class.
Shanta will be making a GUITAR!

Remove the cover from the box. Stretch the rubber bands around the box. Attach the ruler or stick to the back of the box on one end to act as the arm of the guitar.
To play, strum or pluck the rubber bands.
Shanta would buy wood and metal equipment for her instrument. She will be buying these supplies at home depot.

What have I learned&earned?
1.) physics contain motion, full of measurements and period of times. It can be involved in many different experiments and labs such as the pendulum .

2.) I have so far 6 entries in my time log I try my best to do all my work and turn in all the assignments . I usually start doing my physics homework around 7pm-8pm and finish around 9pm-10pm it depends how much homework there is.(: I have spent over 24 hours from doing homework because i try focuse on what the homework topic is about. But ive tried my best and I hope that my assignments show time and effort that I've done it.
3.) I have one absence in physics because of something that has happened outside of school. And I have never been tardy for physics because everytime that break bell rings to go to 3rd period I rush myself to class and come prepared(: I believe I tried to catch up on the late assignments I've missed. You said I am missing one assignment and I believe that was when I was absent I keep fretting to ask to be honest but I will try my eat to turn in all my work on time. I have tried attending the Tuesday afterschool session but I have no sixth period and my parents uses the car. And also another problem at my house is that I have no Internet connection and I have trouble turning in my work in fusion.
4.) I log onto fusion everyday because I need it also for government And Econ and physics. I go on it probably 2-3 times a day. To check on what hw topics there are missing assignments and grades. I've used the cAlendar on fusion for senior activity reminders such as gradnite pAyments All that kind of stuff. I haven't been doing extra credit to be honest because I'm still a beginner in section links and files so I still have to get used to it.
5.) yes I wear my student badge everyday without a reminder once first period hits I wear my badge until school ends because our school badge is pArtial credit in my first three classes. When I enter physics clAss I can say I don't wear bTs but I do have on my phone with me just in case we need to take pictures of something(: I ask questions in class when needed to be asked if something I don't understand I raise my hand and ask. I rarely volounteer cause I like to listen and comprehend to what you are talking Bout in class. I Keep my table organized keeping my stuff together and recognizing that all my supplies are there and needed. Wen the class ends I always push in my chair to show respect that I hAve finished using that chair.
6.) i am doing holt aNd hewitt. I hVe completed most of my assignments excep the labs because our group had data difficulties and malfunctioning as a group this week. :( I have written textnumbers in my topics and objectives, and to be honest no I hVe not turned in all4 labs on time:( technical difficulties with my group and I hope I can change group members. To be honest, my notebook today isn't as organized as it should be because my notebook has nothing but the dividers and pApers. I was going to change it into my USB but I hadn't had the chance to do so. I have all my mAterials except a protractor. I lost mine:( and yes I take up all my quizzes and test when there's one on the day of . I would never skip a quiz or test. Yes I always wrote in my planner to make sure I know what homeworks to do that night, I alwaysget my planner signed every time the last week ends I always bring my planner to class. I also do all my Cornell notes completed without having it turned in incomplete I make sure it's fully organized and complete. My scores for my quiZes and tests I believe are pretty bad to be honest. I really try my hardest but it seems that I need more help into understanding how to do physics and it's equations such as hookes law.
7.) I am a very enthusiastic person so when I get to class I greet everyone with respect and a smile on my face. I complete all my in class assignments and try to turn it in on time. I always take class notes to study and learn from it. I take video and computer notes always! (: to be honest I have not studied the book of phyz handouts And have not highlighted because I don't quiet understand what it means . :(
8.) what I've done to eArn a higher grade in this class is that I come in to class on time and on task. Bring my materials and when there are labs I bring in all of the mterials needed. For the electronic assignments I try my best to find computer to type in my data and facts . Extra projects doesn't seem to occur with me because I have not searched on the extra credit section links. I always blog on time but today I couldn't becUse I had no Internet connection. :(
9.) what I am good at in physics is that Im always enthusiastic and alwYs prepRed for the work given to us. My weakness is that sometimes icant focus I get side tracked easily and get unfocused it depends on the group that I am in. The things I gott work on and control is to stay focused at all times and turn in all my assignments ON TIME! To try you're hardest and show effort in all you do whether it's wrong or right.
10.) I believe that the grAde that I've earned for the first 38 days of school inthis physics class 3 rd hour is aTleast B because I have been doing all my work turning them in, showing time and effort In what I've worked in and tried my hardest. And everytime I get into class I have a bright smile on my face which mkes me prepared and ready to stay focus in class.

frog evaluation
i believe that i couldve done a better job at making my frogs. my frogs were small and tiny and made with almost the same type of material. it didnt place when my group was challenging eachother gbut its okay. i believe that i tried my best and hardest with my effort into making my frogs and blogging about them. ive worked with my team and that is all that matters we worked together to understand what we were going to do. my frogs may have not been placed but i believe that ive tried and i didnt give up. i can atleast would like to get a passing grade such as "C" or B - (: i dont like giving up with my work and responsibilities. so i try my best, and i say i deserve a passing low grade (; please & thanks :)

these are the results we did today about the high jump & long jump. it was a close call.
i believe that the talented pretty frog is arianas because she had worked on it very hard and i believe that her frogs took time and effort in doing it .
