FROG LEG COMPETITION UPDATES (:

For our competition today it was Abbey, Sami, and Shanta competing. Abbey & Sami competed for both height and how long their frogs will go. we decided to take 3 trials. Abbey was first, her first try her frog flew 126 cm from the table, her second try was 193 cm, but as the third trial comes it even went further off the table (: it was measured 225 cm deeeep! her frog was unbeatable. When Sami tried his tries only reached up to 99cm or lower so he lost (; for the height of the frogs Shantas was 42cm Sami was 30cm while Abbeys baby frog reached up to 62 cm high ! Abbey basically won the game today (: her frog was tiny and unbeatable. BUT my frog had the BEAUTY (: my frog is pretty & colored & decorated. So i won that part of the game (:
The key variables used in our frogs are that we used blank printing paper& lined paper. we also made different sizes of frogs one real tiny one (abbey's) and our normal sized decorated ones (sami&i) plus shantas target picture cardboard frog (: We created all the frogs to test what type of shape and size it would make to be able to jump better, and to work better in a way the frog will get further in height & length (:
What ive learned from this experiment is that we have to make sure to test alot of frogs and figure out which would be the perfect one. we have to identify whether the size and weight would be able to work for the effect of finding out which can go higher and further. i have learned to work as a team with my teammates. we worked together as a group and created our frogs together. today was an exciting day cause we learned how to work as a team without leaving anyone behind and working together with finding out the results needed to write this blog.

The things that I'm good at in school is that in color guard, I perform my heart out and my best because color guard is my passion. I love performing in front f alot of people it makes me prove to them that I am good at something. I'm not the best but I am a very good spinner. I am also a very workaholic kid as much as I hate work I do it for myself and my family, now that my mom is pregnant she needs all the support she can get and I am willing to help her pay for bills and everythings else she needs for the baby. Another talent that I have is fashion, such as doing peoples hair, manicures, and cutting hair. I love curling my hair and fixing it because it makes you feel good if you look good. My nails are sometimes done because I can't jaw nails at work. And cutting other peoples hair is fun it makes you want your own salon. I am a very good kid with alot of talents. My hobbies that I am good at are singing, cleaning the house doing house chores, and a little bit of dancing(:
what makes me a successful student is that I try my best in what I do, even if it's wrong I still try and figure out what went wrong. If I ever choose to fail it's because I chose to but now as i am getting older I've realized I have to be more focused and on task to Achebe my goals in life. I am a successful student by turning in my work on time getting into class on time and always on task listening and asking questions if I don't understand the teacher. As a person I am very successful because at the age seventeen I have to pay for my own phone bills and realize that I have big responsibilities that I have to work for. Such as senior year is full of activities which costs a lot and I am willing to work as hard as I can to get that money and pay for the activities I would like to attend this school year.
my contribution in life is that I want to finish high school, get a diploma and get into a four year college. I have many choices of courses to take such as medical field, nursing, cosmetology, or some fashion designing art school. I have so many dreams and I hope I accomplish at least one. I can't fulfill all but I know I can at least do one and finish it.
